   Résumé
   L'homme d'affaires international Auric Goldfinger inquiète les États-Unis et l'Angleterre en spéculant sur l'or. Chargé de le surveiller, James Bond le traque jusqu'à son repaire en Suisse. Goldfinger veut atomiser Fort Knox. Bond réussit à retourner Pussy Galore, la femme-pilote de Goldfinger, et à éviter la catastrophe.
   Commentaire
   Troisième épisode des aventures de James Bond, Goldfinger comporte quelques-unes des images marquantes de la série: le corps nu de Shirley Eaton asphyxié par une fine pellicule d'or, la fameuse Aston Martin bardée de gadgets délirants… Intrigue simple, linéaire, criminel d'envergure et un peu fou, c'est l'univers du roman-feuilleton transposé dans la superproduction colorée. Le comédien allemand Gert Froebe, révélé entre autres par Fritz Lang, y trouva le rôle de sa vie.
